While the planet is big, there's not much to explore beyond the vast, stretching reaches of a boiling hot, red desert. Which means it's fun for the whole family! There are hostile aliens on the planet who aren't taking kindly to you, an alien on their planet. They're stronger than you and you're out numbered. Likely out gunned, too. But, really, good luck! You'll be coming back alive. For more information on the planet and things that may be found there, please go here and give it a read! There you can also find the missions completed in game should you need any additional prompt. Whatever you can imagine that fits with the setting itself works! [ PLEASE NOTE: Threads taking place on Oros cannot be used as game canon, as they required prior signups to participate, but the setting is provided so that you can get an idea of just one of the kinds of events that will be in game! ] ➣ SCENARIO 002. Congratulations! You've been selected to be part of the team being sent down to the planet around which the fleet is currently orbiting. Initial scans of the surface show that oxygen is in abundance, temperatures support carbon-based life-forms, and there aren't any large quantities of poisonous gases that might pose problems. Your mission is to secure a landing site, set up a camp, and locate edible flora and fauna. Stores aboard ship are running a bit low on food and it's projected to be another three weeks before the fleet reaches a station large enough to replenish supplies. Once identified, larger parties will be sent to the surface to help hunt and gather. The good news is, scans show fruits, vegetables, and animals are plentiful. The bad news is that once your ship lands on the planet, everything goes sideways. An unexpected ion storm sweeps through the solar system, shorting out communications between the fleet and the team. It wreaks havoc with the electronics planet-side too, temporarily shorting out the smaller craft's navigational array. Until it passes, about six standard days, you're stuck down there. And the bountiful harvest isn't without its dangers. Even the most docile looking animal will attack. Sampling the fruits and vegetables will cause temporary paralysis, hallucinations, and psychosis. Inhaling pollen will bring out a person's baser instincts. The planet itself is predatory, you see. Everything on it has evolved to entice visitors from nearby systems and kill them. And the fleet's unwittingly taken the bait. ➣ SCENARIO 003. It's been a rough day. Everything's going wrong. Machines are breaking down everywhere. The owner of your favorite business wasn't there today and the store was closed when you stopped by to pick something up. A coworker didn't show up for work, leaving you with an interested workload. And now it feels like you're being watched. It started about ten minutes ago, but whenever you turn to look, there's no one there. The feeling doesn't go away, though. No matter where you are, it feels like eyes are watching. Did you hear something? A quiet, scuffling scratching sound just for a second? Maybe you did. Maybe you didn't. But it came from the misshapen monstrosity that just punched a hole through the bulkhead right beside you. The creature makes a low, wet gargling noises and darts toward you: six to seven feet tall, vaguely humanoid, and covered in strange growths over which is stretched bubbling grayish-brown skin. Maybe you notice tatters of familiar clothing hanging off of it. Or there's enough left of its eyes to recognize the shape and color. Or maybe something about the noises it's making sound familiar. It's your missing coworker and it looks like the unfortunate soul ran afoul of that weird slimy creature the science team brought back from that jungle planet a month ago. The good news: you can kill it. The bad news: it can kill you. It's fast, it's hungry, and it reproduces at an alarming rate. A single bite can transfer the parasites in its bloodstream to you. Then you'll be just like your buddy. And that shop owner you like so much. And all of the people on Level 12. And... ➣ SCENARIO 004. You're welcomed and encouraged to make up your own scenarios. As you can see, there will be a wide variety of the types of things your character will encounter in this game. So feel free to make your starters as horrific, sexy, lighthearted, action-packed, or slice of life as you'd like. Make up a planet, make up a location on the Eluvio, make up a ship in the fleet, fight off a zombie alien invasion, there's no limit to what you can do on the TDM.

[The intense temperatures of the desert does nothing to deter your partner from looking anything but utterly fascinated. He's taken long strides far ahead or alongside you, depending on your endurance, and his goal is not the relic you're supposed to be seeking. He's more of a chaser, anyway.]

1. TRILK

[And through a chase that involved many wrong turns and dead ends, Newt has finally reached the cave entrance. Chasing a creature that ran over ten times faster than you should wear down a person, but he's lit up like the gemstones in the bright sun. Are they the treasure he yelled about?

... No, it seems the real treasure in his eyes are the creatures guarding it. The very potentially deadly creatures that he is actively taking cautious steps towards, unarmed hands raised and a grin across his face. Did he even bring his weapon? It was uncertain. He only seemed to pack a stick.] They're gorgeous, don't you think?

2. FEKS

[There was some attempt to get back to the task at hand before Newt had been distracted yet again... by the sight of a broken hut. And really, who needs some important relic when there's something as fascinating as a large mouth-shaped dent in what used to be a wall? A very large wall. For very large creatures.

The others nearby seemed to be in just as much disrepair, so by any means, there shouldn't be any shade over them. But if the heavy footfalls of the Fek weren't enough to indicate they weren't alone, the grunt of one coming to loom behind them should be enough to say they weren't alone. It isn't just one, either, but several who seemed to be the owners of the other homes.

Newt looks like it's Christmas in January.] They're majestic, aren't they? [In mud. In a wasteland.]

3. WHOOPS

[Newt is a very excitable person when it came to chasing alien creatures. It's a habit, good or bad, that's carried over from Earth. But this wasn't Earth. Earth didn't have spikes to step on.

In perspective, it could have been much worse. That was just a perspective hours from now, safe on a ship, and with much less near-death. In the moment, Newt has enough sense about him to shout something with the wave of a wand, redirecting the fire up into the sky. But that didn't stop the spike impaled through his foot and grazing his helmet.

There were a number of predicaments one could be in. A mile away seeing a sudden blaze of fire shooting into the sky? Alongside him, suffering his mistake? Or perhaps you were feet behind him, trying to warn him before it was too late.

Either way, it was a very painful experience for one of them.]

4. CASE

[At some point in time, the relic had been found after all. Newt hadn't found it himself, so there was absolutely no reason for his briefcase to be glowing. Or making a noise of any kind. Very disgruntled, angry noises.

He certainly shouldn't be shushing it in his lap, leg bouncing with anxiety over something related to this. Stop looking at him like that.]

[ most of the quad isn't covered in ice and snow most of the time, but going down on this planet isn't the first time dutch has seen either. it's still impressive, in a way: the whole planet is covered in white, silent and cold, beautiful and unforgiving. that impression lasts about as long as dutch still thinks that she'll be able to collect the samples she's been asked to collect and return, but a sudden snow storm forces her and another unlucky inhabitant of the eluvio to seek shelter in an actual ice cave.

dutch is wearing cold-weather gear, but it's not quite enough to keep the chill away when the sun goes down and the wind picks up, howling outside. from underneath the hood of her jacket, dutch glances at her companion, lips curling into something of a grin, if one that doesn't necessarily imply happiness or even amusement. ]

You realise there's only one thing to do, don't you?

[ out of the frying pan and into the fire.

keith feels like this is something he's done a million times and will probably do a million times more before he dies. space stretches out endlessly before him, behind him, beside him. never ending. eternal. he remembers what it was like doing all the flight simulators and training day after day after day and never really knowing if he'd actually get up there as a pilot to fly among the stars. now he just doesn't know if he's going to be on the ground ever again.

fighting comes easy to him. it always has. somehow it gives him a purpose. even more so now. or, well, it was when he was back with the rest of the paladins. now he doesn't even know what he's actually fighting for, only that there's hundreds of people on this ship that need to be saved and he can't just let them die because he's in a different quadrant of space right now without really knowing...

well, knowing anything at all.

he pilots his lion quick, darting through debris and other fighter style jets. it's weird, he doesn't feel connected somehow but just keeps trying his best. ]

If anyone can read me out there – [ he has no real idea if these comms are patched into everyone or not, but he's got to say something. ] there's a huge cluster of these bogies coming up on the following coordinates.

[ Leaning towards the idea of not wanting to take a gift horse in the mouth, Nanami opts to eat some of the fruit that's on the planet and that doesn't actually give much in the way of favorable results. Because the first thing that happens is that she starts to hallucinate.

And while hallucinating is known for being something that isn't good practically all the time, what Nanami seems to be seeing is... ]

Ah. Watch out, or else the line piece will fall on you— [ Yeah, she's seeing Tetris. Of course, feel free to think that she's crazy, somehow. Then again, in this situation, she can't help it. But she's trying so hard to help, at least, right? Even though she doesn't seem to be saying it with a very huge sense of urgency. ]

[ It's definitely discomforting when your co-worker suddenly disappears, but you'd think that there would be something worse than that, but he reappears and Nanami can't hide the sudden sense of relief as she heaves a heavy breath out. ]

Luckily, that's one of Dale's specialties. Truth be told, the whole thing is. Finding beauty in unexpected places is something right up his alley, and when he emerges onto the planet, what's the first thing he does? Takes of his helmet, and breathes in. Deep.

Fresh and unpolluted. They don't make them like this anymore.

And then, what else is there to do but set out, find some food, maybe do some cooking, have a pot luck? How fun would that be?

Of course, he's never gonna know what's edible or not if he doesn't sample the offerings. And so when he's found, he's knelt down onto the forest floor, practically enveloped in bushes, small berries in his hand.

And that hand? It's shaking. Just a little tremble, but the berries in his palm are dancing across it. And his eyes? Wider than spaceships. He can probably see sounds right now.

And he's offering them to whoever approaches. And he laughs. It's high pitched. It's quiet. It's not at all normal. ]

[ There's a face. It's a content face, a lazy, pensive smile painted on, and it's the face of someone who has no idea how the network works just yet. He's just, you know. Casual. Broadcasting to everyone. It's cool. It's fine. ]

Diane, it occurs to me that I cannot properly convey the sights, or the sounds, or the feeling of outer space at all. Never really thought I'd make it up here. Can't say it ever crossed my mind in any large capacity, but now I find myself wishing I could share it with you.

I miss home. That's not to admit weakness, or disregard my time here, but I find my mind wandering, wondering about the day-to-day mundane activities of the citizens of Twin Peaks. Of Truman. Of Audrey. Of my colleagues at the Bureau.

he's a paladin of freaking voltron, after all! which means he's got experience, he's got knowledge, and he's got freaking talent to do this kind of thing and do it well. he and blue could take on entire armes, have taken on entire armies, so what was the harm in going on a mission to a seemingly peaceful planet and securing a landing site?

you know, until it's not.

but that's the thing - lance is also used to seemingly peaceful planets turning around and kind of totally freaking destroying you. granted, his experience with that tends to lend towards galra fighters and galra ships and galra armies, a whole crew of aliens he's pretty decently awesome at actually fighting. but the planet itself? from the grass to the trees to the actual air around him? all trying to kill him?

that was new.

new, but not impossible. because nothing is impossible. even if it's just him and a couple of other people who are way in out of their league on a murderous angry planet and- you know, suddenly he understands what hunk meant when he said that killer food was his worst nightmare. never in his life did he think that an entire planet's flora and fauna would both, simultaneously, try to kill him. and yet here they are. ]

[Being given the mission had practically been a dream. A chance to get her feet on real soil. But something had felt off as soon as they'd landed. A foreboding that felt dreadfully familiar.

She's beginning to recognise it now, closed away in the shelter of the ship, checking over what few crates they'd managed to fill with fruit and vegetables before the storm rolled in. Scanning over them with the devices they've been provided haven't given her cohesive answers, and eventually the feeling of unease guides her to pulling a glove off. Picking one of the fruits up. Just in time.]

It's poison. [She stares at the crates in horror.] All of it's poison.

[The first creature, as odd as it was, had been a welcome sight. Aside from the atrium - where she spent as much time as possible - everything here felt cold and unnatural. Coming back to her assigned room to find the ball of fur, had seemed like a comfort. A little warm spot of life outside of the other crew.

But that had been the first one.

Now she's in disarray, hair tugged loose from her braid and suit scuffed and covered in fur, hauling two great armfuls of the fluffy things out of her room. The corridor outside already has a sizeable pile, and she pauses to stare it in dismay. She's certain it had been smaller only a moment ago.]

Why do you keep breeding?

[She can almost hear Sarkan's voice in her mind, dryly asking if she, Agnieszka of Dvernik, was demanding a living creature make sense.]

But it doesn't make sense. [Objecting to a man who isn't there, but she's beyond caring if she looks crazy. She's a witch who lives in the wood. She's been beyond it for a while.] It doesn't make any sense at all.

Today is not a good day, as far as Pidge is concerned. Sure, it'd start off normally enough--go check out the alien planet! Easy enough, right? Not like she's not done this kind of thing before. She's lingering next to the transport ship, neck deep in wiring and compare parts as she tries to get something working again after the ion storm has fried their systems. Muttering to herself, she plugs another set of wires in and waits as she stares at he diagnostic display. Her face lights up with a hopeful little smile as the screen chimes into life, glowing green for the briefest of moments before it goes red with an annoying, all too familiar buzzing klaxon, a bright red 'X' blinking consistently.

"Quiznak!" She curses and tugs the wiring free, searching for an alternative set.

"There's gotta be some way to break through the storm, right? Will you hand me the bag over there?" She gestures back behind her towards a utility bag, a few wires and other bits sticking free.

"I think I can get this working if I just have a little more time."

The instant he'd come face to face with the monstrous thing that was most definitely wearing shredded pieces of his employer's clothing, he'd turned tail and run away. The beast wasn't so easily thrown off though and had clambered after Yuri, causing the teen to panic a bit as he tried to figure out where to go, where to hide--]

[The words are barked out at a woman that was starting to come through a doorway and she immediately stumbled back and hit the door lock.

Well. Great for her.

Yuri cursed under his breath and turned quickly down a hallway, skidding slightly as he went before scrambling to duck into room, not caring who's it was or what was inside. He slammed his hand against the door controls and the door slid shut just as the monster lunged and Yuri stumbled backwards just as the door closed on the creature's outstretched hand, taking off a few digits in the process.]

Gross. [Frowning as he kicked at one of the digits while scooting backwards on his butt, Yuri finally let himself relax. At least momentarily.

SCENARIO TWO: [ It's not that she has anything against the wild, she does enjoy a stroll in the forest when she was able too back at Caladel, but it was close to the school. It was near a town. Maybe not seconds away but minutes still. It was enough to make one not feel so... trapped. Not in the way that they were confined, but in a way where she felt like if something went wrong out here there was no certainty someone would be close by to help. This was a feeling that wasn't helped by her broken communication device. Technology was supposed to be more easy to understand, but somehow she felt that magic could be more reliable. A little more dependent on internal needs and less at the whims of external influences. Not that she had the ability to do either. So she wanders still, hoping she's not wandering too far. She carries with her paper and pens, items she's glad to have purchased and glad to have brought. She makes notes as she plots out rough landmarks. She's no cartographer, but where technology has failed her she hopes a handwritten map will help. When she hears rustling behind her, she turns abruptly. Her light eyes, rimmed in blackness that spreads out along her veins away from her eyes, are curious. Nervous. Four more days. Four days and they can escape. He sighs, pulls himself out of the chair and walks back towards the others. Their equipment is mostly shot. Communications are down. He frowns as he emerges from the storage room.]

004 - Play that special punishment music.

[It might seem like a normal morning. The air is being cycled, the announcements you usually hear on board do their usual business of keeping you informed. Hinata running as fast as he can. Usual things. He slams a halt in the middle of the hallway. His gut tells him not to look over his shoulder. Yet he does it anyway.

He recognizes, yet again, the disturbing detail of his co-worker's glasses jammed over what serves as a face. The gurgling noises that have plagued him continue to pepper the air like some sick little song. He had saved his own life when he dove into a narrow hallway the moment he saw what had been watching him when he punched in at work. But he's pretty sure he can't run forever and Mark, the spindly little man with a mean streak when it came to due dates on payments, is damn fast.

It would be hilarious and he might laugh later, in hysteria if he lives through the encounter. If he doesn't then he won't have to worry now will he? It shouldn't be funny. It isn't. As he resumes running, narrowly dodging the lunge of Was Mark, something of a stressed laugh escapes. Sometimes, laughing helps.]

[ All of this would've been so nice, and so reminiscent of Mars.. had it not devolved in to aliens attacking. The braided gundam pilot had been previously enjoying the scenery, comparing it to what he'd seen of the Mars terriforming projects - until he'd caught sight of the aliens on the planet. Then, well, it had become a mission to get as close as possible so that he could actually see a freakin' alien.

So please don't be disturbed if you find a teenager with a long braid peaking out from behind a cave wall.

[ For lack of anything better to do at the moment, (and provided this is something Duo can actually bring) - he's opted back to looking after his gundam, even if it's docked and standing still, at the moment. There's some residual damage left over from their last battle, and now seemed a good a time as any to make sure that everything was ready to roll should it be needed for another planet drop or... ship attack.. whatever they could possibly face at the moment.

He's sitting on his Gundam's knee, eventually, tapping away at a computer and calibrating, before turning to whoever is closest to him that.. seems to be struggling with whatever it is they're doing. ]

Hesitates before he looks around out at the creatures in the distance and while it is kind of cool, he's... mostly unsettled by the fact that this is another planet. And the ships they're usually on. [Slumping against the rock, Cloud grimaces softly. Better than saying they look pretty similar to the creatures and monsters at home, at least?]

[While she might not look it, and while the childish personality might not give it away, Pino's pretty handy to have on this little mission. Namely in that nothing can actually effect her, so she can blissfully peace off into the unknown to forage and explore without worry of falling prey to something. Despite appearances, Pino's actually extremely heavy-- far too heavy for most predators to pick up and carry off or something, and in general they seem to ignore her anyway.

(It's the whole "actually a robot" thing; maybe they can smell it and realize she's not flesh and blood but unappetizing wire and idk, oil? Probably?)

Appearances can truly be deceiving, but that's about where it all ends because Pino is still a child. More or less.

Which is why she has a steaming pot held in her bare hands, filled to the brim with the most unappetizing stew known to man or alien. There's lumps of unidentifiable vegetation floating around, but Pino is beaming proudly as she presents it to anyone around camp who doesn't get away fast enough]

Here! It's full of nutrients for humans! Pino can't eat, so Pino will make sure everyone else is eating instead!

[She beams proudly of her horrible creation and looks expectant. On the bright side, you won't die eating it, but that doesn't mean it'll be pleasant... Seriously though, who let her near the cooking station?]

[Scnerio 003]

Aaaaahhhhhhhh.

[it's...a scream? Sort of? It's completely monotone, but quite loud, like someone who knows what a scream is, knows the situations it should be used in, but has no foundation for actually using it. There's no emotion behind the yell, but Pino runs through the halls anyhow, yelling and ducking to avoid the weirdo space creature chasing after her. She's small and nimble enough to avoid its reaching claws, and eventually she gets enough distance that she can sharply turn a corner and go sliding through some vent before the creature can grab her again.

Her monotone yell echoes through the vents before it dissolves into a giggle and she bursts through another vent entrance-- though this one was centered up higher, so she goes toppling to the ground below. Hopefully not on anyone, because she's actually extremely heavy and likely will cause bruises at the least if she hits or lands on someone.]

Oof... [Completely unphased by her fall, Pino sits up and beams at whoever's around] Hello! [Was something chasing her? Eh, it's fine. All in the past now.]

[Somewhere in the shopping district there's a store selling pricey and pretentious looking art.

Outside said shop is Pino with large pieces of paper, some her size or bigger, spread out on the ground. She has paint and brushes and is cheerfully copying all the paintings in the window in perfect, exact, detail (and all in a matter of seconds). Nevermind she has pain all over herself and never mind the shop owner is getting incredibly pissed off by this, she's having a great time!

Maybe you're just a passer-by and/or maybe you've see the shopkeeper pacing up and down and looking increasingly angry at Pino's fun times. Maybe you've been called in by said shopkeeper to stop this threat to his business.

[ Here Re-L was, trying to get some innocent shopping done now that she was back on the ship, this time with a little autoreiv in toe. Pino could take care of herself, so there was really no need to spend a whole lot of time making sure of where she was or watching her too closely - she'd functioned as an autoreiv citizen of Romdeau for too long to get up to anything too entirely devious, especially for one resembling a human child. And thank goodness for that, too, considering that Re-L didn't have the patience for a real human child at all.

She experiences a moment of concern as she turns from paying at the register to find the little autoreiv gone - stopping to scan the immediate area, and, well..

Re-L isn't exactly that most understanding of why the shop keeper is so angry, and instead gives an appreciative nod. ]

[ From somewhere in the distance, there is an enormous crash. Then there's another, followed by the sound of something being dragged across the ground. A moment later, a tallish, square-set blond boy with a very dubious undercut is thrown into the corridor's wall with enough force to put a dent in it. He slumps to the floor, bleeding, but apparently undeterred. He lifts one hand to push his hair back from his face, smearing it with blood in the process. His eyebrow has split. He turns to spit more blood onto the floor, and then hauls himself up.

His skin is decorated with tattoo-like black symbols, some more faded than others. In one hand, he holds a short sword that glows with a cool white light. Blood is dripping from it.

Not Jace's blood. Staggering back, he looks around, fixing on whoever's closest. ]

Something's on board. It just tried to kill me, and I think it used to be my partner. Don't ask. We need to secure this level, there's more of them. Do you hear me? We have to get everyone out!

[ If he's honest with himself, the worst part about being here isn't when he's fighting the elements on some desolate alien planet, or when his mission goes south and every plan he'd had goes out the window. Or when some weird, seven-jawed disaster of an alien is trying to kill him. In fact, all of that stuff feels kind of normal. Jace is built to cope with that kind of pressure.

No, the worst part is when the pressure's off. When they're just all going about their lives inside this ship, when every day feels the same and the work he's asked to do isn't just mundane, it's Mundane. He never so badly wants to get out of this tin can as when he knows it'll be days till they're able to land again.

So, here he is, talking into his watch like an idiot and going out of his mind with boredom. ]

She gives a firm kick when her boot catches on roots for the fiftieth time, catching her balance up against a tree. A slimy tree, because of course everything in this forest is disgusting for no discernible reason. She draws her hand back quickly, giving it a sharp shake. ]

[You'd think they would've disqualified her for a planetside mission, considering the leg brace, but she'd started out pretty pleased about it. Raven's glad to be back in space after going to the ground - she's always felt like she went out of her depth when she landed. Like her skills are more useful in space. But the fact is, on Eluvio, she doesn't get to do what she used to do on the Ark either, and the whole everyday life schtick got tedious about the same time she got used to being able to shower with hot water every day, her whole wardrobe was hole-free, and the junk food stopped sitting well. Raven's an active person - tedium doesn't suit her. So she'd jumped at the mission when it had been presented, played up how familiar she is with landing unaided on possibly-dangerous planets, convinced them to overlook the brace in the face of her experience, and they'd sent her down.

Now? She's kind of regretting it. Between the ion storm, the food situation, and being back on the ground with fritzing tech again, she wishes she'd stayed on the ship with its easy shopping center and showers. If nothing else, though, she's pretty good at getting by on almost zero food, and she's working on trying to make sure all their equipment works.

So when she sees one of her teammates go down, swooning from dizziness or a hallucination or nausea or whatever else is affecting them, she's hungry but she's capable of slinging an arm around their back. Supporting their weight a little on her brace.]

Hey. Take it easy, okay?

[She's probably going to get in trouble for it at some point, but that's then and this is now. She'd gotten a job when she arrived here, but Raven is never satisfied unless she's doing what she wants to do - being a mechanic. Building. Fixing. Thinking through problems.

A week or two hanging out in the hangar bay, and she'd figured out the lay of the land pretty quickly. A few important facts: 1) the fleet, fighters, and other ships get repairs in the hangar; 2) the repairs are carried out by mechanical robot staff; 3) the robots break down a lot. She'd also figured out it was pretty much pointless to try to set herself up as a mechanic for every ship in the fleet when the ships all come from different worlds or galaxies and they're all different. The solution? Figure out how to fix the droids.

So she hangs out in the hangar bay, leaning neatly against the wall until she hears tell-tale cursing or noises of frustration, then makes her way over there.]

Sounds like you need your repair droid fixed. I can help you with that.

003. ❚ this wouldn't happen working at mcdonalds ( but maybe at burger king ) [ Working at a tiny cafe on the ship had it's pros ( there was actual coffee on this ship and she had constant access to it! ) and the usual kinds of cons you might expect. All in all, Clary felt pretty lucky with the position she'd been given here. She didn't mind the work, and things could always be worse. That's why when her coworker didn't show up for work, she didn't complain too much. The usual rush was managed and after that there wasn't a big reason for two of them to be working. So she shook it off as she left from her shift and headed back to her room. It's as she's plugging away at her communicator on her wrist, trying to see if she missed anything while on shift, that she hears something. She stopped and checked behind her, but seeing nothing started to walk again. Another scuffle. Stop. This time she's sure she heard it. There was a softer sound, persisting, and she can hear it now she's really focused. She stepped towards the wall, realizing it was coming from there. Something mechanical she doesn't understand? Nope. Definitely nope. There's a sharp scream from her as the creature burst free from the wall. She nearly flew backwards onto the ground, but she managed to recover in time to not fully go down. Instead, she pulled out her seraph blade as the creature stalked towards her. ] Get back! [ She yelled, sounding more confident than she felt. This was no demon, after all. And this was so much bigger than her. It made a deep sound, just before rushing her. She slashed at it as she rolled away, rising to stab it from behind while the chance was there. She stopped short as she saw the tattoo on the what could only be the shoulder of the creature. ] Stacy? [ She couldn't help but recognize her missing coworker's tattoo. Instead of continuing the fight, Clary took advantage of the creature's momentary distraction to turn and run deep into the ship. Though she heard the creature's loud squeal as it discovered her missing to run after her. The first person Clary finds while running, she paused for. She's clearly in distress as she tries to gesture the other person on. ] Run! Something happened to my coworker she's... we have to run before she kills us! Come on! 004. ❚ network ( un : artsy ) Soooo Let's say someone took a wrong turn down a hallway. And they really didn't know this wasn't the right hallway. So they opened a door and they thought there was another hallway. And they thought it was right, there are a lot of doors and hallways here after all. Like the one at the end of the hall that was actually locked. And then the other one they went through is locked too now. It locked behind them when it shut. And that someone is me.... He's not really used to the fact that space travel is possible yet. Or... well, everything else. But it was sort of a relief to have real earth under his feet... for about half an hour. It's hot here, and while he's certainly used to doing things in adverse conditions, looking for plants when all he wants to do is sit down in whatever scrap of shadow to be found isn't very conductive to the current mission.

Drooping and trying to pretend he's not, Cloud glances up, less bothered by the helmet than the fact that if it breaks he won't be able to breathe. That, even more than the heat, makes him want to leave as quickly as possible.]

... Seen any of the other plants?

[The first one had been found easily - too easily, apparently, and that left three others.]


Scenario 2
[It's tiny, fluffy and has large, liquid-looking eyes. It's downright adorable, but Cloud can't help keep glancing to it out of the corner of his eyes, one hand tense and ready near a firearm he's only somewhat familiar with by now. The storm (he doesn't exactly get how or what, but a storm messing up the equipment is a storm messing up the equipment) that got them stuck here has him nervous, and despite that this is more green than he's seen since he left Nibelheim for Midgar, right now it's just making him uncomfortable.

As is that tiny, fluffy creature. It looks cute, but tonberries look kind of cute too, and they're lethal. At least there's just one, for now, but Cloud shifts on his feet and gives it a hard stare.]

[First of all, her job was strange as it was, but now she had to sew an entire stack of work for three people all on her own. She wasn't upset at the task but concerned that getting it all done would be a problem. People who expected these back today were going to be upset. She might look bad but so were her dear co-workers.]

[Shay was enjoying her life on this ship, even if it hadn't been long at all. it was so... different! So lively! The ship itself didn't talk to her like a Balmera did, but everything else did.]

[Thus when sounds echoed in behind the wall she was working near she had been surprised. Pressing her hand to it, she spoke so softly.] Are you unwell, ship? Is someone there?

[She felt the hit on the other side, and just as she drew back something broke through the bulkhead, trying it's hardest to grab for her.]

[Someone dressed in the same uniform as her co-worker. Someone with the same bright eye (only one now) as the person she had been working with.]

Oh no... [She spoke out softly, drawing back in surprise.] What has happened to you, my friend...

[It attacked and she tried her best to dodge it. The large stone woman moved well enough for someone with her stature, slipping past tables and carefully throwing large objects back behind her as she ran out a door into a corridor. She had barely managed to slap the door closed behind her, hearing the creature hit the door with impressive force.]

[Hand to her chest she sucked in a deep breath. Shay was a pacifist at all times possible. She never wanted to hurt anyone, but that was scary.]

[The lights in this hall flickered, and the scraping sound of something moving at the other end was growing louder. Floor 12 seemed to have a problem, and she needed to move.]

SCENARIO 2

[Ventus is always more than eager to explore new lands - this is no different. He was told to locate food, and he thinks the fruits should be okay to eat. If she were here, Aqua may have advised against it, but how would he know if they were edible he didn't try?

It takes a turn for the worse.

His limbs are stiff as lead, and his head feels very heavy. Each step is shaky and for a handful of seconds, he is unable to hear the crunch of grass beneath his feet. He stumbles for a while, feels his legs twist around one another as he steadies himself. A part of him wants to call for help, but words fail him when he's fumbling around with his hands to his head, eyes clenched shut.

When his senses clear, he looks up. A splotch of violet shadow spasms and forms on the floor, two red eyes narrowing at him threateningly. More burst from the ground and he finds himself surrounded.

He throws his hand back, the familiar weight of the Keyblade fills his palm as he slides into a defensive position.]

[The coworker he's come to enjoy talking with has mysteriously disappeared, and Ventus wonders if they've retired or simply moved to another section. He's understandably upset, having found a friend (or he likes to think) in them, someone who provided a comfort in foreign land.

He still hasn't found Terra or Aqua yet - the worker made no claim of them either.

Ventus glances around, feels unseen eyes follow his every move. He's had enough training to detect presences, and this one feels very strong. It weighs heavily, pressing into his shoulders with each move. It feels closer, closer, closer...]

[He falls out of the way of the sudden hole jabbed through the bulkhead. From the ground, his eyes trace to the source and his heart lunges into his throat.

This creature was not an Unversed, and Ventus suddenly wishes it was because at least Unversed were easy to defeat. This, however, was unfamiliar, and when he registers the tattered clothing of his coworker clinging to the monster, his panic hikes.

The noises it makes, the gurgling, bubbles in his ears, and briefly, he's too startled and afraid to move.]
