[Ventus is always more than eager to explore new lands - this is no different. He was told to locate food, and he thinks the fruits should be okay to eat. If she were here, Aqua may have advised against it, but how would he know if they were edible he didn't try?
It takes a turn for the worse.
His limbs are stiff as lead, and his head feels very heavy. Each step is shaky and for a handful of seconds, he is unable to hear the crunch of grass beneath his feet. He stumbles for a while, feels his legs twist around one another as he steadies himself. A part of him wants to call for help, but words fail him when he's fumbling around with his hands to his head, eyes clenched shut.
When his senses clear, he looks up. A splotch of violet shadow spasms and forms on the floor, two red eyes narrowing at him threateningly. More burst from the ground and he finds himself surrounded.
Unversed.
He throws his hand back, the familiar weight of the Keyblade fills his palm as he slides into a defensive position.]

SCENARIO 3
[The coworker he's come to enjoy talking with has mysteriously disappeared, and Ventus wonders if they've retired or simply moved to another section. He's understandably upset, having found a friend (or he likes to think) in them, someone who provided a comfort in foreign land.
He still hasn't found Terra or Aqua yet - the worker made no claim of them either.
Ventus glances around, feels unseen eyes follow his every move. He's had enough training to detect presences, and this one feels very strong. It weighs heavily, pressing into his shoulders with each move. It feels closer, closer, closer...]
Wah-!!
[He falls out of the way of the sudden hole jabbed through the bulkhead. From the ground, his eyes trace to the source and his heart lunges into his throat.
This creature was not an Unversed, and Ventus suddenly wishes it was because at least Unversed were easy to defeat. This, however, was unfamiliar, and when he registers the tattered clothing of his coworker clinging to the monster, his panic hikes.
The noises it makes, the gurgling, bubbles in his ears, and briefly, he's too startled and afraid to move.]
