It's a level of elemental manipulation that's far beyond any of his own and he'd admit to it; Suigetsu's ability to mimic other materials to such a level of detail is still the source of occasional amazement.
Very, very muted amazement. As muted as he is over lunch when he's treated to one of the least satisfying bowls of soup in his life -- is it entirely broth? At least his teammate appears to be enjoying himself, but Sasuke uses the completion of his own bowl to excuse himself back to his room. He has a few pilfered snacks waiting there to supplement what he's just been subjected to, after all, and it's an equally good opportunity for him to get in some quiet exercise... alone.
