[ the planet doesn't look harmful, and at first kara is really just excited. it's a new planet! they get to explore! maybe there'll be someone with information on how to help them get home, or maybe they'll just find some delicious food, or at least the ingredients for chocolate pecan pie so that kara can try her hand at it, because she really, really misses chocolate pecan pie.

it doesn't take long for that excitement to turn into grim determination to keep herself and the team she's landed with safe. she's already defeated one rabbit-like create the size of a small dog that had come into their camp snarling, teeth bared. if not for the snarl, it might have been cute, and kara had tried to reason with it, to ask it to leave, to scare it away. none of it had helped, and in the end, she's kicked it away, probably breaking most if not all of its ribs. she's sorry about that.

flying high enough to oversee the camp, kara zooms in on someone looking a little ill, and a moment later lands next to them. ] Hi. Are you all right?

Hi everyone! I haven't been in space in a while, this is exciting. How are you all liking space? [ kara already misses alex, and winn and james and j'onn, even mon-el. she misses national city; she misses home. but there's no use in dwelling on that, is there? and this spaceship doesn't seem so bad. it's as big a spaceship as she's ever seen, anyway. and maybe they'll get to explore cool planets? ]
