[Fur just seems terrible. His skin would crawl if he had any, at the idea of it getting caught in his wires inside. Terrible. He plucked out another ball of wiggly fur and chucked it behind him. It didn't seem to hurt them at least.]

A vacuum cleaner for the fur, or for the living fur balls? That might be a good way to collect them, at the very least. I have a feeling these things wont "herd" well.
